Light the Covered Bridge Celebration
All Day Event
It is the intent of the Borough of New Britain, through a combined effort with local business and civic groups to plan and execute an event to celebrate the 175th Birthday of the Pine Valley Covered Bridge.
The celebration is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, June 23, 2018 and would include a family day at Covered Bridge Park adjacent to the bridge itself on Keeley Ave., in New Britain Borough. The event will include a grand illumination of the bridge utilizing the talents of a lighting firm to design a non-invasive light system to show off the bridge in all its glory. Details to follow. The Borough is looking for addtional sponsors.
